K I T C H E N O R G A N I S A T I O N

Updated: Apr 7, 2021

When I was in the process of painting my kitchen cupboards, I shared a picture to Instagram stories of my cupboards with no doors on and they were a mess, to say the least. This is when Organised By Charlotte messaged me and offered to help

Charlotte is the queen of organisation! She has so much knowledge on what products are currently on the market to help you keep organised at home and so many clever ideas

I sent her a video of all of my kitchen cupboards and within around a week, she came up with a virtual plan on how I can make the space work better for us and keep it tidy and organised going forward

We have quite a lot of cupboard space but it was all unpacked in haste and hurry when we moved in around 18 months ago and not been changed since.

The plan Charlotte sent me involved lots of decluttering, some decanting, moving things around and lots and lots of labelling... which I love doing anyway!

I used a variety of items to help get the space organised. I managed to get some bamboo baskets from Zara Home which fit perfectly in one of our narrow cupboards. I bought lots of cork lidded glass jars from Eden & Willow, some plastic organisation dividers from Wilko and a variety of glass bottles, wooden crates and storage items from Ikea

We’ve had our new organised cupboards for a couple of weeks now and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s really changed our day to day living! Simple tasks like searching for certain food items, putting the groceries away and just seeing them decluttered has made things a lot easier. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves as I took before and after shots of it all...
